Sarah Nicholson – Missionary Kid From Brazil Leaves Religion
In this interview, Sarah Nicholson discusses growing up in the Amazon region of Brazil as a Missionary Kid. She then left Christianity in her teens while living on her own at a young age. Sarah describes the changes to morality and life purpose she experienced when leaving religion. These changes affected her behaviour as a feminist in her Mechanical Engineering studies. She is passionate about finding a universal human intimacy – an assurance that we are more alike than we seem – by accepting the mental and sexual experiences of the other through humanism. Sarah is the daughter of Wendy Marsman, host of the Women Beyond Belief Podcast.
